Dear Diary,
We are kinda stinking at the diet thing. Last night I let the kids order pizza for dinner and had to eat a slice! Anthonys is the BEST
Monday night Jonathan ate at Outback and opted NOT to eat salad. Jesus daughter had a birthday and he couldn’t stay away from a piece of cake.
Tips for staying away from JUNK? We ALL crave it!! Eating breakfast all week has helped for me, with the exception of the big ol slice of NY pie last night!
Biggest Loser finale was amazing, I cried the entire 2 hours!! Such an emotional journey, I cannot believe that Mark lost winning the show by ONE POUND! First FEMALE Biggest Loser, ALLI!!
Jump on board and become the KOOLEST LOSER!
In January I altered my diet to address constant sinus issues. The plan I followed eliminated 90% of all food allergens for three weeks, most notably wheat and dairy. Dairy was not much of a problem for me because I had stopped eating that a couple of years ago. Eliminating wheat products particularly bread and pasta made a huge difference. I’ve also eliminated rice and potatoes as well as all added sugar, specifically high-fructose-corn-syrup (found it just about everything that comes in packaging). Juice is ok in moderation, maybe 8-12 oz a day, but it cannot contain added sugar.
My goal was not to lose weight but that happened. I lost seventeen pounds in from early January to about the middle of February. I went from a 33 inch waist to a 30.5 inch waist.
By reducing the amount of refined carbs that you eat and by not eating non-fat or low fat foods, you will find that it is a lot easier to lose weight and you do not have to restrict calories per say, unless you want to.
Cheers.
